Well it is too bad because these are two of the most utilized Content Management Systems being used right now.  Break out the html editor and get to coding!  No thanks!

The last and most important difference between a paid and free hosting account is the support.  Out of all the free hosting companies that I visited,  I couldn’t find one that offered live 24/7 chat support.  I know recently I had an issue with one of the hosting accounts that I use and had it resolved within a matter of minutes through their friendly and quick chat support staff.  This was at 3 in the morning.  If I were using a free service I would have had to submit a support ticket and then would have had to wait for a resolution.  I don’t know about you but I hate waiting!

Before I finish I want to say that there may be a few good free web hosting companies out there but I suspect that you would spend far too long searching for the right one.   Pick the wrong one and you may be without a website and all your hard work setting up the site gone when without warning they close down shop.  It happens quite frequently.

Last but not least, when researching a web hosting company make sure that you find out what the costs will be after your initial terms are completed. you can ask this question when contacting their support options as I described in the first tip above. This can help with avoiding any unforeseen expenses in the future, which is a piece of critical information selecting the right web hosting company. Should you not, you might be unable to afford their prices and having to switch companies. Switching companies can be a big pain and if not done correctly can mean the loss of all your hard work — and I’m sure we are able to agree this would not be a good thing!
